HERITAGE WEEK 8
Re: HERITAGE WEEK 8
I have to disagree...the 2 receivers on the right side of the formation both appear to be in the backfield, and the outside receiver is actually moving backward when the ball is snapped. Also, if tose two recievers are both on the line to make 7 then the inside receiver is inelligible to go down field because he is not the widest man on the line...either way...it is NOT a legal play. It's a mute point, but lets call it like it is.

I watched and they did not have 7 on the line. But also the penalty that extended lvs final drive was not a penalty either. This game was marred by refs

Re: HERITAGE WEEK 8
LV has no room to complain. That was downright awful defense on the last play. #17 comes up and goes for the pick instead of the easy tackle, then two or three more guys whiff. Really hard to believe that a simple play like that worked for 40 yards on the last play of the game.
Re: HERITAGE WEEK 8
lhacbigfan, no room to complain for LV? Those officials get paid to make those calls. The correct calls. Not just the calls they feel like calling. It's easy for you and other people to simply say 'OH WELL, THEY SHOULD'VE TACKLED HIM' But that #17 who should've 'just tackled him' like you said is just a young man who played his heart out all night long and he DOESN'T get paid to do it. The refs do. What about all the weight lifting, training, and off season sacrifices those young men made over the years? It all came down to one play that should have never happened. I bet you it's not so easy for them to say oh well, stop complaining. Why isn't anyone held accountable anymore? It's a shame that people like lhacbigfan would rather point fingers at a young student/athlete instead of the real problem and that's the officials. They blew the call and everyone knows it. The game is all over the Internet and on IUP tv. Maybe you should watch it again.
Re: HERITAGE WEEK 8
Bad calls happen every game.. Maybe this was one maybe it wasn't. I believe this post reads heritage week 8 so its time to start living in the present rather than complaining about the past. Should be a few good games this weekend

Re: HERITAGE WEEK 8
I'm not pointing fingers at one kid and saying that's what lost the game. I'm just saying it wasn't all the officials fault. There were plenty of calls in that game that were awful both ways and I'm not defending the officials, because they were atrocious all night. But in the end they still had a chance to win and didn't do so. Once the play starts, even if it shouldn't have be run, you have to continue to play.

Re: HERITAGE WEEK 8
Again spike that game should never of been in that position if other bas calls weren't made, lv would of been short tds if bad calls didn't go their way early. Those officials were bad minute 1-48. They shouldn't be near a high stakes game again
