Thoughts on the mentor program?

Just wondered where people stand on this... I don't know much about the topic but we discussed it some the other day. Is there anything kids wait for today? Hunting has gone the way of sports that I don't like. Everything is pushed down lower and lower all the time. We have rankings for elementary kids in wrestling for crying out loud. Anyway, I think waiting til 12 was good. Maybe I'm just not one for a lot of change.
