Oh I agree there. I think the pens can win a cup with or without anyone on the roster other than 87, 29, and 71. I wouldn't say a +2 in the playoffs is a bad thing when he is matched up against the top lines on the best teams in hockey but also it doesn't mean he is doing anything exceptional either.

I'm just excited I have an outlet to talk Pens hockey now... Anyone go out to games often?

Letang didn't look real good again tonight. I was hoping his performance early on was just due to sitting out a couple weeks with injury, but he's been in 5 games now and is -5. He made some sloppy plays in the Pens zone, but Fleury and Niskanen were usually there to bail him out (there's something you don't hear everyday).

Another player that didn't look to good tonight was Jeffrey, I would like to see Chris Conner get called back up, I thought he did well in the couple games he got earlier on, but for some reason they decided to give Jeffrey ANOTHER chance, and he hasn't really made an impact at all.

As soon as Neal and Bennett are healthy neither Jeffery or Conner will be in the lineup, thankfully.

The injuries this Pens team seems to suffer are unreal. Ever since the won the cup in 08=09 it has very rarely had a healthy roster for a length of time.

It does seem to be a never ending thing for the past few years. It's sad that at this point it's almost expected... frustrating.

Pens fans think they are bit by the injury bug but they aren't the only team in the league with injury concerns. Every team in the league has injury problems. Carolina hasn't had a healthy #1 goalie in what seems to be years. Ottawa missed Speza, it's top 2 goaltenders, and Karlson for most of the year last year. Philly and Boston both lost its captain to career ending injuries in the last 5 years.

It's more of a hockey issue than a Penguin issue. Gotta have depth especially at goalie and defense.

Pens D is questionable, and b/up goalie forget about, til Vokoun gets back.

The Pens are sixth in the NHL in goals against this year. I'll take that. While this will never be a lockdown and shutdown type of team they have made a commitment to defense this year that seems to be working.
