As the season is just around the corner::
PA Power Wrestling has come out with their pre-season wrestling rankings for both the

8 D5 medalists would be a good showing.

106 Murin is from Central Cambria

113 - I saw a big difference last year between #6 Gabriel and #8 Burkett...Gabriel won all 3 head to head matches; WBF :25, WBF 4:15, and 6-0...plus Gabriel had some wins and close losses (2-2) against elite competitors - Glorioso, Howard, Griffiths; wheras Burkett has lost convincingly when facing similar caliber opponents (0-5) by uncompetitive scores. A statewide ranking system might not realize that Burkett's R6 finish (vs. Gariel's DNP) was significantly aided by the flawed seeding system used at Johnstown.

285 Mironenko of Mifflinburg, state champ 2012, should be a factor this year.

It's nice to see some local boys getting recognition. Especially having 2 locals in ranked in the top 2 (Easter & Buttry). Speaking of those wrestlers i saw that Buttry is going to West Point and Easter committed to Bloomsburg. Congrats to both wrestlers.

Hdons Glorioso is #1 a 113
Those rankings are Soley based on last year results.. Mifflinburg hwt dq'd at Hershey ranked outside top 4? He won it in 2012. And Beckwith beat at least 3 of top 10.... Nice for recognition, but they will change soon

Burkett might still be a 106 pounder and if he is, watch out! He beat (6th) Murin 8-2 a few years ago at Mountain Conference! If Burkett is at 106 he will be a force
