The future of football
Re: The future of football
Other than this year, the past two Sr. Classes at Clairton has played 64 games... Just crazy... Playoffs should be cut in half and there should be 9 regular season games... You instantly create a 14 week schedule.

Sorry, but players in d2 and d3 do not play both ways "a lot." Don't know where you get that info but that is simply untrue. It might happen for a few trick plays or special teams, but they essentially are arranged like d1...Just less talented.TheRealBleacherCoach wrote:I watched a division one game last saturday night that a linebacker was also playing running back. It happens alot in d2 and d3. All I'm trying to say is think back to when we played high school football, would you not have wanted to play a 10 game schedule. I wanted to play as much as possible.

So...should the piaa go to a bowl system? No playoffs, private schools can have their own thing, and the kids don't have to play too many games. Pure genius.
It's better to keep your mouth shut and let people think you're stupid than to open it and remove all doubt.
