Well you say that coaching is everything, and then you say that one player's would've changed the game. You make absolutely every attempt in the world to take anything away from the WestPAC beating the Heritage in that game. Just shut up already. Portage won the game. I agree that the game would've been different if he would've played but i don't know about how much. Portage had 2 players run for over 100 yards. You just can't deal with it
I said coaching wins championships. And what I see is homer beating a catholic and going to the finals and portage losing huge, worse loss of D6 A playoffs.

If HC wins, that changes nothing. They still lost to Portage head to head. Some teams stack up against others better. Obviously Portage stacked up better against HC than BG. Portage lost to a "pretty freaking good team." If HC loses then what? Show it was just the luck of the draw to get to the championship. The WestPAC will never get credit. Simple as that. Worst part of the whole thing is I hate Portage.

I honestly think portages problem is their mindset. I can't know for sure but if their coach is saying they can't beat the system after the game I wonder what was said during and before the game. Going into a game thinking you'll probably lose just makes teams play worse usually

Let's not forget that next Saturday will be a home game for BG....This game will not be played at a neutral site like it should be....it should be moved to Greater Johnstown or the Point....keep it fair....good luck to Homer Center....The odds are totally against you....

The HC Portage game meant nothing
Both teams were already in the playoffs
I think a win in the playoffs is a much bigger win than a week 10 game.
If HC wins this weekend, they are the best team in D6 because they are the champions.
Are you telling me that the Berlin win this weekend means nothing, because Meyersdale already knows that they are the best team in D5 since they beat Berlin.
Interesting.

Last year Penns manor lost in the first round and I can't say they were a top 4 d6 team. Even though they lost to a finalist. They were a top 8 d6 team just like Bellwood and pm this year. Portage and BC are top 4 teams and BG and hc are top 2 teams

They did beat Berlin in a tough 3 overtime game. Typical backyard brawl game. I'm not saying that just cause Portage beat HC that they are the best team in D6. I just hate that there's no credit for them winning that game just because they lost to a good BG team.

The week 10 game between Homer and Portage was closer than the scoreboard said, homer lost two BIG factors in the first quarter. with Mike Newhouse out with a knee injury and Kolby Skultety getting tossed on a questionable call, that made Page put in an inexperienced sophomore and freshman as well. They are not play makers like Newhouse and Skultety. Would love to see Homer and Portage match up again when it matters. Week 10 really meant nothing but seeding for the playoffs. Portage showed their true colors Friday night.
