For the 2nd time in 3 years, a PIAA returning champ has been declared ineligible . Zain Retherford(Benton) was sat down 2 years ago. Now after transferring to Franklin Regional, Devin Brown was declared ineligible by the WPIAL.

Had to see this one coming.....3 different schools in 3 years--starting in Ohio. I've seen the boy in some of the clubs we go to, and seems like a nice hard-working kid, but you seriously can't just keep switching schools like that.

On another note, I would like to know his secret for staying 106 for 3 straight years, lol.

The situation is just to obvious. If he was going to transfer to any other school it wouldn't be as suspicious but of all schools they move to Franklin Regional which is loaded with studs. Spencer Lee's transfer is clean. His dad, from what i heard, got a job at Carnegie Mellon. While still ironic he goes to Franklin Regional his dad at least kind of moved for job purposes.

I think Brown lives with Lee though.

Lee's have guardianship over Brown, but the grandfather is in there somewhere--I think possibly moved down with him. But your right Lefty, he originally came down with Larry Lee. Lee is a class act, and I will bet he steers clear of this with the PIAA. Bottom line is you are ASKING for trouble when you switch schools 3x, and start the process by border-jumping from Ohio.
