Grant Syster

Post by PLDragons24 »

Grant Syster is a junior running back that had a big year for Purchase Line this season, rushing for more than 1,500 yards. He is a talented player that most people haven't had a chance to see play yet or haven't heard much about. I think he has a bright future in football. You can see him play some in this video. He is number 23. http://purchaselinefootball.stackvarsit ... ?id=323110

System went way under the radar this year in the heritage. Purchase line started with rough schedule early and were forgotten about with PM, HC, lv and even blairsville. I'm for sure putting him on as an offensive player of the year option when I post heritage award voting (as soon as hc wins state or loses)

I coached him in baseball when he was younger. He is also a good kid from a good family. Nice to have around.

I think it's really odd that PL has had great backs like this and can't get the program going too well (as of late). Huey was an amazing back last year and Syster played extremely well this year also.

I believe the problem this year and last was the trenches. After Price went down last year they had no "strong" running lineman. This year PL's line wasn't as bad but were a little on the small side and probably inexperienced. I imagine PL will have a very solid team in the Heritage next year, and the Heritage is honestly shaping up to be even more well rounded next year.

Yes the line was very inexperienced this season but they improved a lot during the season. The whole line will be returning next season
