If Gateway truly is moving to AAA that could mean trouble for A LOT of teams in the west!

Ah so schools like Bellwood and ligonier are probably gathering around hoping to be under that 174 marker! Talk about a bubble watch party

And yes i know that this post is 100% ridiculous. I wouldn't believe it to be true

If Bellwood gets moved to AA then they get moved to AA. It doesn't really matter to me. We used to play primarily a AA schedule anyway and faired VERY well. I garuntee if BA does get moved to AA they will still be among the best teams in D6 playoffs year in year out

If they did get moved up would they be staying in the ICC long or.would they move.to the more dominant AA conference MAC,( comparing it only to ICC)

I'm not really sure. The ICC has Mount Union, Everett, and Southern Huntingdon who are all AA.

Bellwood-Antis used to be in the MAC along with Tyrone, P-0, Penns Valley, and BEA. But I believe they left after the 2007 season whenever the MAC started adding bigger teams like Central Mountain, Central-Martinsburg, Clearfield, and the old Lewistown/Indian Valley schools

Raven all of those schools were in the MAC/big 8 except CM and Clearfield and Clearfield was a member "back in the day" plus centrals couple year experiment with the LHAC...they just had it split into a small school and large school divisions to accommodate PV and BA who wanted to maintain their ICC ties.

Makes sense. I always wondered why BA left MAC after a short stint. We were very competitive in the conference. We were Co-Champs my Sr. year in 2004
