Auburn vs. Alabama
Auburn vs. Alabama
Nick Saban lost that football game but wow what an incredible football team in Auburn, if they win SEC championship, they are my favorite to take it all. What needs to be known though, is nick Saban made his share of mistakes. A very unsabanlike game if you will

I know this is bold but that may go down as one of the greatest moments in sports history, incredible!

Saban had belief in his kicker. If that kid makes that kick he's a legend and Saban is a genius. It was just a great game.
Re: Auburn vs. Alabama
Aside from the kick Saban had plenty of chances that he didn't take. People will blame it on foster but that was essentially an unmakeable field goal by college standards in the atmosphere in that game. I agree, great game.konjo78 wrote:Saban had belief in his kicker. I was worried about a blocked kick with a Freshman kicker. I never thought once about the return, but if you think about it all the guys blocking for the kick are big lugs. Really dumb move by Saban.

Re: Auburn vs. Alabama
Thought it was a dumb move by Saban to try and kick that considering how bad the kicking game was all day.
But I have a question about the call that started the whole sequence. Guess it's more of a pet peeve of mine. Why is the out of bounds play reviewed at the end of the game and 1 second put back on the clock? If you are going to do those kinds of things at the end of the game, it should be done the entire game. I know it's been going on ever since this replay stuff started but I've never understood how they can review things in the last 30 seconds that didn't matter the entire game.

I had this same question but this is where I say Saban shot himself in the foot, he wanted that review and he got it. Sabans aggressiveness bit him this timeTheAnalyst wrote:Thought it was a dumb move by Saban to try and kick that considering how bad the kicking game was all day.
