Re: line-ups
After looking at the Tribune Democrat Wrestling Roundup I noticed that Chestnut Ridge is the only school that didn't have
a roster in the paper. So with what I have heard from a friend out that way this is what he believes will be their lineup
106-Burkett
113-Dunlap
120-Hobson
126-Ickes
132-Demer
138-Shank
145-Clarr
152-Hilegas
160-Krouse
170-?
182-Winegardner/Buttry
195-Buttry/Winegardner
220-?
HWT- Buttry
These may be speculation and I am sure I have the spelling wrong on many of them as I do not know of some of them.
This looks to be a solid group.

Re: line-ups
United released their starting line-up last night
106 - Caleb Walls (Soph)
113 - Noah Walls (Soph)
120 - Levi Walls (Soph)
126 - Kolt Jarvis (Soph)
132 - Warren Lowther (JR) 12-16
138 - Devon Walker (JR) 5-15
145 - Caleb Bracken (Soph)
152 - Tyler Mack (SR) 18-10
160 - Grant Ingalls (JR) 4-21
170 - Anthony Michaels (JR) 13-13
182 - Josh Young (JR) 0-9
195 - Tyler Oliver (JR) 28-4 (D6-2nd) (SW-Reg 6th)
220 - Seth McLendon (SR) 17-7 (D6-3rd)
285 - Andrew Deitman (JR) 25-4
The Lions will have five starters that will make their varsity debut this weekend, all five had successful junior high seasons last year. The one to watch out for of the sophomore group is Caleb Bracken, as expected he destroyed most of his opponents last year in junior high as a freshmen. He made remarkable progress after not having wrestled for a number of years.
Devon Walker is much improved over last season and could be a wild-card for the Lions as are Tyler Mack and Anthony Michaels. When Mack is on he is capable of a deep run. Josh Young is entering his first season as a starter for the Lions.
Murderers row begins at 195 with Tyler Oliver the returning D6 runner-up from last season. He finished just short of a trip to states last season. At 220 the Lions will have Penn Cambria transfer Seth McLendon who was the D6-3rd place finisher last season. At heavyweight, he doesn't get as much press as a lot of good returning heavyweights like Gill and Selepak, but Andrew Deitman is good enough to win Districts.
The Lions were 11-14 last season, but 3 of those losses were forfeits after a mix-up with the line-up and a wrestler not wrestling the weight he was certified at, The Lions could have easily been .500 with a young squad. It will be interesting to see how they do this season. They are tough in those last three weights, but there are several capable guys who could make them very competitive this season.

Re: line-ups
After reading the Tribune Dem's capsule reports, and the Mirror's "Winter Heat", I'm surprised at the number of teams that can't fill out a full 14 man roster! Especially some of the perennial stronger teams, like PC, Richland, and Tyrone. Is this a sign of the times?

Re: line-ups
Look a lil closer manfred... Tyrone hasn't had full lineup in a few years, but looks like they do now
Although the weights listed in mirror have me confused. Jason Schopp is listed at 145 but wrestled 132 at Lock Haven Tourney a few weeks ago.. I can't imagine him staying up in February .
Tyrone projected lineup by mirror wts
106- hunter,Gunter , or Brown(not Sagertowns Brown)
113- brown, or Gunter
120-Dixon
126- Sprankle or Lewis
132- A. Hunter
138- Snyder
145- Schopp
152- farias
160- cassler or Damon
170- Reese
182- sleeth
195- Beckwith
220- walk or reader
285- walk reader or Colyer
Although I heard Colyer had a significant injury at practice last night.

Re: line-ups
Eagle, thanks for the update. I have all my fingers and toes, so when a 'reputable source', a.k.a. the local newspapers, only show 10 names, what is one supposed to think?
