The Swogger girl in Bellwood is very good, I saw she put up 20+ the other night. Also the Engle girl at Tyrone was in double figures her first half of varsity ball

No, her and the Iuzzilino girl are Tyrone kids(for several months anyway)

I know they are now. In the summer league at Hollidaysburg, Izzilino played for Altoona and Engle played for Bellwood. Once the regular season started they mysteriously showed up on Tyrone's roster.Eaglealum wrote:No, her and the Iuzzilino girl are Tyrone kids(for several months anyway)

all this talk about freshman makes me believe there are no upper class players to talk about !!! Hey I think its great a frosh gets into games and scores points. but really none of these frosh listed are taking there teams to a another level, ala Jabari Parker.

I know SF starts a freshman in Dylan Gordon who is putting up good numbers. That's a big accomplishment starting for coach Hendershot as a freshman. Also Chase Novak from McConnellsburg has played very well.

I think some area coaches would disagree with you. I see more girls basketball that boys. There are some freshman that are making a huge impact. That is what this thread was about, freshman.
