Southmoreland Tournament

I saw that a few local teams are attending the Southmoreland tournament next weekend! Any thoughts?

I've attended this tournament the past 8 years. d5 has done a good job representing itself the last couple of years with Nortern Bedford North star and Meyersdale wrestling there along with Forest Hills. Get to see a lot of wrestlers that u will see at Jtown at regionals watched an epic match between Roberts n Nolf a couple years ago. Always a couple of top 8 finishers to watch each year. Definetly some talent there to watch unless u r going to powerade

I have yet to find results on the net. If and when I do I'll let ya know. If I'm not mistaken, the tribune does a pretty good job printing the results round by round once the tourney ends.

Not sure about anyone else, but NBC is holding 5th at the start of the Quarter finals

Meyersdale- Mckenzie, Diest, Berkley
North Star- Mostoller, Strasiser, Horner
And I believe Hetrick from Meyersdale

sraisser wins Deist Berkley and Horner get 2nd. Have to wonder where the stalling calls were in Berkleys match

Berkley should have won that match, the other kid stalled his but off! The 113 pound match was really exciting!
