Re: Michael Sam
We have explained it to you moldo. You just have your patent moldo blinders on to anything that makes reasonable sense.
Re: Michael Sam
So he's a PROUD gay man because he can tell people he's gay??? What kind of answer is that? He didn't say, "I'm proud to be a gay man". No, instead he said "I'm a PROUD gay man". Big difference. There's a difference between "I'm happy to be a healthy guy", and "I'm a happy healthy guy. One means you are happy to be healthy. The other means you are happy AND healthy. AGAIN, what's he proud about?

Re: Michael Sam
He has a lot to be proud of. He is the first in his family to earn a college degree, he is an accomplished football player at Missouri, will be a professional football player most likely and proud he doesnt feel the need to hide who he is to anyone..
Re: Michael Sam
C'mon konjo, give me a break. Justify it any way you want. But he did NOT say, "I'm proud to be the first in my family to go to college". He did NOT say, "I'm proud to be an accomplished football player with a great future in the NFL". He DID say, "I'm a proud gay man". You can tell where his priorities lie.

Re: Michael Sam
I'm confused? He said he's a proud gay man? And that makes him a terrible human being?????? Moldo you are a lunatic
Re: Michael Sam
Doesn't make him terrible. But WHAT about the gay lifestyle makes SAM proud????? (And don't say he's proud that he can tell people he's gay. That ain't gonna cut it).

Re: Michael Sam
It doesn't matter what you think cuts it or what I think cuts it. His teammates call him an excellent teammate, he's happy and whatever he is proud of is nothing for you to try and make an issue of. Being open about something can take a whole lot of courage. It took me 5 years to tell my friends I had a cancerous tumor in me when I was a kid. Why? Because I didn't want my friends to look at me in any different way. When I let people know about my past I was proud of myself because I knew that it never mattered and my friends would always be my friends. I just had a close friend recently come out publicly and it toom him a while because he feared how he would be treated by others when just trying to play basketball for fun. Being open about yourself to others can be a great fear to overcome. Thats something I am proud of, my friend was proud of and im sure Michael sam is.
It doesn't matter if thats good enough for you, me or anyone else whatever makes him a proud gay man is good enough for him and thats all that really matters

Re: Michael Sam
You're rambling and grasping for straws. Sam is NOW a role model for some kids. What makes HIM so proud to be gay?

Re: Michael Sam
The only straws I'm grasping for are ones to help you understand. If you can't understand after any of that you never will. You'll just sit back there and just keep fighting a wall. Idk do we have a moldo translator here at the site because I swear sometimes we need it.
Re: Michael Sam
I'm not taking Moldy's side here at all and he is making a mountain out of an ant hill on this debate (as he always does) but Moldo is very right about something. As soon as you don't agree/support somebody in our society you are labeled. If you don't like Tebow, you aren't a Christian. If you don't like our president, you are a racist. If you don't believe in abortion, you are inconsiderate of young mothers. If you don't support homosexual behavior, you're instantly reminded its 2014 (whatever the hell that means). If you don't believe people should have assault rifles and hand guns, you hate our nations founding principles. If you watch Duck Dynasty, you are homophobic.
Too me it is always ironic that homosexual people want to be accepted by all but won't accept the fact that they are not accepting of others religious views. It is also ironic that Christians (like myself) want to tell others how they have to live their life when Biblically it says God is the Judge and each person has to answer to Him individually. This is a battle that people try to brush under the rug but there is no getting away from these issues smashing together at the forefront of a majority Christian society.
I have no hate for anyone that has had an abortion, doesn't support Obama, is not religious, or have reservations against homosexuals. I am on the opposite side of the fence on all these issues but that is why God created us all differently. I will leave it to Him to ultimately determine what is right and wrong.
