The first half was awesome and exciting. Heading into the locker room it was 28-26 Tussey. Definitly thought our girls were gonna pull through. Then Weaver got 4 fouls and Cessna after that. 2 of our key players so they had to watch how they acted. The girls came out of that locker room like they forgot how to play. The boys game should be much more interesting! :cheesy:

EHSGoalie, I thought Everett played well. The difference was Tussey coming out in full court man/man in the 3rd quarter. How many points did Everett score in the 3rd. It couldn't have been more than 5 or 6. It was not because Everett played poor but because Tussey put tremendous pressure on the ball in the back court. Cessna was killing TM inside during the 1st half. In the 2nd half Everett could not get the ball to her because of the pressure on the guards.

You say the 1st half was awesome and exciting and I thought the 2nd half was awesome and exciting. I guess it depends on which side you were viewing the game from.

TM's press can make for a night of hell sometimes. Those girls impress me. They press like wild animals and then walk off the court smiling.

It wasn't even their traditional zone press. They were playing mainly full court man. Lacy Yablonski plays man defense as well as anyone I've seen this year.

your right, her, Gibbons from Bedford , and maybe even Garber play some of the most aggressive man defense around.

Our girls were lacking in the 2nd half. Some of the shots that were taken, all I could say was wow. Last second of the game when the one girl was on the ground (from Tussey, didnt see her number) but Cessna stepped all over her (literally) and she deserved it too. Cessna puts up 20 points a game at least and those girls were acting like they were dogs going after a piece of fresh cut meat when they were guarding her. Its basketball and I understand why they did so, but some of those fouls called against her, those girls were fouling just as much. And as the fans chanted at the end of the game "Its all over" and as I yelled back "wait till tomorrow"...tonight is what matters now and our boys are gonna walk away with a wonderful win!

EHSGoalie,
Cessna stepped on AmberJo Donaldson, you are saying that AJ deserved to be stepped on? You didn't know half the stuff that went on, on the court that night. Cessna needs to learn to control herself, she's punching people and talking smack all night...but I guess if she thinks acting tough that they'll win, well we sure showed her. Then after the game she called us Sore Loser....sore maybe but obviously not the losers.
