Let's not act like the pens have had no playoff success. They made the ECF last year.

This injury ridden penguins team needs to find some answers fast. Crosby with a dumb penalty, but thats just a minor thing. On the bright side steppy and goc are playing well. The line of sutter, glass and goc is slowly improving which I love to see

On the other side of the state, giroux is playing out of his skin right now, after a garbage start to the year he has totally turned it around. Simmonds, lecavelier and schenn are all dangerous players with timonen providing solid backing. This team is dangerous, I don't like to admit it but its the truth.

The teams with the most points since start of December have been both flyers and pens. Though the team that I don't want to see is Boston because they are starting to look very good these last 2 weeks.



also I believe since December Crosby and giroux are top 2 points getters. The key to this game and tomorrow's are the defenseman. That period flyers D played strong and pens were weak. Plus can't blame fleury for either goal..1st just tipped a stick and curved and the second the pens left him out to dry hard

Also, I think a huge problem is turnovers, which most often is a mental thing. It comes from laziness and of course just lack luster movement. Their needs to be some more chemistry and effort, and more specifically if the pass isn't there, don't force it like you are playing youth hockey, find a drop or dump it deep. Just a lot of Achilles heels for a team I consider in the top 3 in the NHL
