Beautiful!!!!!! Always agreed on what their doing as long as they kept them(I was having doubts) ..... I still wish they'd spend a little for worthwhile rentals to take a shot... I'd like they full year kind not the 2 month rental at the deadline that costs you prospects for 60 days more or less

Shifting gears a bit, with Liriano and Tallion hurting .... Does Lock and Cumpton still start in AAA as planned?

Liriano pitched 55 pitches in a 3 inning simulated game yesterday and felt no discomfort. He is going to throw a little on Saturday and as long as there are no setbacks take the mound Monday at 1:35 in PNC park. If he suffers a setback he will likely go on the DL and Cumpton will be the opening day starter.

I just read something that blew my mind about Liriano. He only allowed two extra base hits to left handed hitters ALL SEASON last year.

I think a lot of the Pirates success this season depends on whether Liriano can at least come close to what he did last year. If he flops, which he has done before in his career, it will be tough to make the playoffs.

I think Liriano wins 20 games this year. I'm not worried about him. As for Cole, I think he wins north of 15 games and Morton will be hot on his trail, as well. Heck I got Wandy down for 12-15 wins...

I think Morton will have the best year of all the starting pitchers. His stuff is great, if he can stay healthy he could be dominant.
