Well, D-5 is fairly tough this year i'd say. When it comes down to it I think NS will be the one seed and CT will be the 2 seed--i think they'll both win into the finals and play each other--North Star will win fairly convincingly, for two reasons,,,,mainly the cougars were Shubik-less against them the first time they played and only lost by 6 in a game that they shoulda won,,also it was new addition Josh Neri's 1st game----so with the best player in D-5 Drew Shubik healthy and a seasoned Neri the Cougars will win by 20 even while getting beaten' up down low,,,,with that said, the Cougars can probablly win one maybe 2 games in the playoffs, because of that tandem--Shubik is sensational and Neri can help him out Big Time with ball-handling and scoring,,they can prolly get it done in the state playoffs for 2 games I would say. I do not know much about D-6 and others so i cannot comment on them. if anyone wants to tell me a little on here on some good teams out there---feel free I'm all eyes to read,,,,,but D-5 def. belongs to Ns 1st and Ct 2nd

I agree with you infoman...NS will come back from there defeats and will go into the playoff with CT who I aslo agree will be number 2 with a lot of determination becasue they know they should have won their first meeting. Don't expect to see much of Windber as in the past. Also Shanksville isn't a bad team this year and can be expected to maybe make some upsets.

i agree with you to bsazem,,,Windber is no where near as powerful this year,in fact they're weak. Shanksville is a really good team, although they're not AA, they are single A, I think they got a great shot at winning the A Title, it's the best Shanksville team I've seen in a while, They beat CT,played right to the wire with NS, and those are the 2 toughest teams in AA. It's starting to near the last three weeks of the regular season, and it's looking like a great ending for #1 seeds in A and AA. I can't wait to see the outcome. It's going to be excited stuff, and so will the playoffs. Good Luck to all area teams.
