Mount Rushmore Project- Tussey Mountain
Craig Enyart-Still holds the school record in the 100 yard dash after 40+ years. 1,000 point scorer in basketball. Played football at Penn State.
Pat Snyder- Leading scorer in basketball with over 2,000 points. Played for Shippensburg. Only drawback he was a 1 sport athlete.
Lindsay Baker- If we're including females she has to be listed. All time leading scorer with 2129 points. Pennsylvania small school player of the year. Led the nation in Division II scoring at UPJ.
Coach Bailey- Enough said.
If we're not including females add Don Donaldson. Was an All American tight end at North Carolina State. Had a brief stint with the Miami Dolphins. 1,000 point scorer in basketball.

Yes and could easily be top 4. Multiple 1,000 yard rushing seasons in football. 1,000 point scorer in basketball. Several PIAA medals in the 400 and 800.Coach wrote:Jordan Donaldson... A top 6-7 candidate?

BIG TIME ..."NOT SO FAST"..my friends...The drawback for some others would be the only one sport standout...but don't ignore state runner-ups Jeff Husick and Jim Leabhart....Definitely Husick is the frontrunner and deserving on there..(And yes, at one time, TM had boistorous wrestling crowds too)..Also Baseball players Dave McDonald and Steve Winfield were looked at by some clubs too...
They tell me Larry Wyles too
I would go Larry Wyles, Craig Enyeart, Jeff Husick and Dave Bailey

Re: Mount Rushmore Project- Tussey Mountain
Depending on the school that you consider him to represent, Peter Riley deserves to be mentioned. State gold medalist in Tennis while playing for Tussey. He attended NBC, though.
Re: Mount Rushmore Project- Tussey Mountain
He doesn't come anywhere close to the top 4 but worth mentioning is Kevin Steele. Tussey football was literally the laughing stock of the state. Players were graduating from the program without even winning a game and he took them to a district final. He left for Bedford and Smith has continued to grow the program into one of the better small public programs in the area. I know some may have a bad taste in their mouth from him leaving, but that program was literally in extinction.
Re: Mount Rushmore Project- Tussey Mountain
1- Lindsay Baker
2- Dave Bailey
3- Craig Enyart
4- Jordan Donaldson
Reter Riley is extremely deserving but it should be for NBC since that is where he attended school and co-oped with Tussey for Tennis
Honorable Mention - Jeff Husick, Don Donalson, Larry Wyles, Pat Snyder, Dave McDonald,

Re: Mount Rushmore Project- Tussey Mountain
Maybe an add... maybe as an honorable mention...
It's important to understand that Tussey Mountain was created in 1960 as a merging of Robertsdale, Six Mile Run, and Saxton High Schools... in the mid 1950's a kid came out of Wood, PA, and played for Robertsdale High School, by the name of Don McKeta...
Don left Robertsdale to join the army, but played football there, was recruited by the University of Washington... he became a team captain during the 1959 season, and played in and WON two Rose Bowls for Washington in 1960 and 1961. He subsequently played in Canada for a while, but got hurt... Nevertheless, one of the best and most successful athletes to ever come out of the area...
