I forgot you know everything. I read the paper, it listed pitcher X as the only pitcher for that game, it was on a Friday, and less than 2 days later, he throws 6 against St.M. A mistake, possibly. But everyone knows the Trib doesn't make mistakes.

It was a suspended game. Only four of the 11 innings were thrown on the Friday in question.

The Point is a great facility, and should be used as much as possible, each and every day, and it is not.

Doesn't the AAABA league have DHs at the Point Monday thru Friday during June and July? And don't travel teams and Colt use it on the weekends?

As it is a city recreation facility, the gate should be opened daily to allow pickup baseball, softball, wiffle ball or football games. It would still likely sit empty.
