Don't know details but Central will again have a new coach this season.

Wow What happened to Coach Horton? One year and done? I saw him at a summer shoot=out with his team and at the "Y" recently and he was still in charge then. When did the opening occur and is it official?

I heard tonight that he resigned.

why I thought he had the program going in the right direction even after the Lewis' girls left the program.

He says it has zero to do with players or parents and that there were just several little things including a few recent health concerns that put his decision over the edge.

So where does the program go from here? I talked to one of the junior high coaches last Friday and he was shocked by the decision. Is there anybody interested in the head job?

My $ is on Rob Mock who was an assistant last year and has been coaching girls at the elementary level for several years. Would be a good hire if he's interested.
