Bellwood vs BG girls last night

Post by districtsixhoops »

Bellwood girls beat BG last night 61-54. One team shared the ball well and played as a team and the other has one person trying to be a one player show. This is the only thing that could stop BG from reaching their peak. You have one girl that doesn’t like to pass the ball much. That player scored 32 if her team’s 54 but there is too much talent on the BG team for one player to be taking that many shots. Since that is all this player knows and she is only going to be a sophomore it’s going to be a problem for some time. That is why they lost to Westmont last year in LHAC championship game. It will catch up with them when they play good teams.

the girl from BG that was controlling the ball the whole time, was she the transfer from Central? If not then who is this Kobe Bryant impersonator?

No, the girls from Central have been non-factors in games I've seen. Wonder how that is going over? No, this is the same girl that did it as a freshman for BG last year. Just think pretzel.

I see so she is from a money family in Altoona. This is another example where I just don't get with the transfers. Are you telling me that this more fun playing with somebody like this instead of her own hometown team where she would be treated equally instead of being a part of a system where money and family prestige gets involves in the playing time. Well at least they are getting a better education than in the Cove!! LOL

Just to clarify this girl is a very good player. 2nd team All-State last year but I think that was a stretch. Acheived that by numbers only. There is more to being an All-State player than scoring.

bellwood girls with a great victory by the sound of things! congrats to them. why all the insults about a high school girl that follow? its shameful. oh wait its ok if she goes to a catholic school right? im all for discussing who's better or what teams aren't living up to expectations by lets act like adults and not insult specific kids on here. seems like when it comes to a catholic school on here i guess anything goes.
