It should be Berlin and Tussey in D5 A championship. Rematch from last year. Watch Meyersdale as a sleeper. Should be Bedford over Ridge in AA.

Don't count Ridge out just yet of another D-5 AA championship. True they lost a big QB from last year, but the majority of the kids that are Seniors this year have been starters since they were Sophomores. They return a lot of starters and letter winners on defense and if they can find a QB to manage the offense, they have a decent number of skill players returning that can help whoever it is. The O-line and D-Ends might be the biggest question marks, but I think they have some kids who had some playing time last year that can step up and I think with Shane Davis leading the O-line it will be better than some expect.

Ridge should have a nice team but Bedford is going to be really hard to beat this year. They are a very talented team.

If you are looking for a quarterback I don't think that's a very good situation to be in... Good playoff teams have a QB that knows the offense and has experience to lead the team to a win.

I'm not saying that Ridge doesn't have a QB...I just don't know who it will be. They lost their QB from last year so someone new will have to step up. I'm sure they have someone. They have never been a big passing team anyways, but I know they were in a couple 7 on 7 tournaments this summer and did well, so they must have someone who can throw a little bit. Ridge will run the ball and throw just enough to keep you honest every once in a while and I think they have the skill players this year that can help an new QB. This is just my opinion, but since Max Shoemaker has been at Ridge, the QB's do a lot more running than they do throwing with his offense. They just need someone who is able to manage the offense and hand off a lot to Matt Wiley.

From what I've heard it will likely be Wiley handing off to Wiley.

I kind of knew that, but wasn'y 100% positive and didn't want to say for sure in case Coach Shoemaker didn't want that info out there just yet, kind of a 'keep the competition guessing' thing. Don't know for sure if that's the case or not, but if it is, he has played QB some before and he can run the ball and in Shoemakers offense, QB's run the ball.

They've played enough 7 on 7s that I don't think it was a big secret.
