PL Field
I am hearing rumors at work that all PL games will be away due to field repair. Is this true? I also hear that they requested the PM field and was turned down. Do you or anyone else know anything about this? Dragon24 can you help us out?

Re: PL Field
If this is true I'm not surprised pm turned them down... I remember a similar scenario the other way and pm had all road games

Not fully true. They resurfaced the field after last track season ended and were not sure if it would be ready in time for the season but it is ahead of schedule and they dont plan to miss any home games now. If they for some reason have to miss a game it will probably only be the Ligonier game, but right now they think it'll be good to go. They got lucky it rained a lot this summer.

Re: PL Field
purchase line did let penns manor use there field on Saturday nights back in the late 1990's. then when purchase line asked to use penns manors field in the early 2000's when they were installing the track around the purchase line field that was denied by PM.
there was some kind of incident a few years in between the two requests where something happened to the pm field. rumors were that the custodians sprayed round up instead of fertilizer on the field or that a neighboring school sprayed round up.

From talking to one of the lady's in charge of the boosters she says that only the varsity is using the field this year to prevent tearing it up too soon. JV Jr. High and pee wee are all playing all away games.
