Agreed Costanza...Ligonier ' s bleacher are pathetic... especially for a AA school that claims they belong. Portage has a nice venue and seating is at a premium there.

I disagree bleacherbum. Outside of an artificial surface (which I don't care for) the BEA field doesn't offer much. I'd say it might be 3rd or 4th on the list.
Clearfield has a great field with lots of seating.
Tyrone for field atmosphere and seating.
would definitely be ahead of them.

My bottom would be PO then Central

actually the old BEN, Lewistown fields might be ahead of those. :)

Haven't been there lately, is the corner of the endzone still on a hill?

Huntingdon is close to bottom two, field floods all the time, play surface is bad most of time. Concessions and parking is good, they've improved facility, but field is always a terd. Plus it's in Huntingdon , so there's two strikes off the bat.

I really like the stadium NBC has. Great view and places to stand all along. Conemaugh Twp. also has a very nice place. Berlin's stadium is still my favorite for watching games. Easy to say since I haven't seen many outside the WestPAC. Not having a track around the field really puts you near the action. Standing room all around. A hill to stand on plus the main entrance. I like Portage in the fact that it feels like you're in the original Longest Yard.

Bellwood-Antis and Tyrone have 2 of the nicest HS Stadiums around. Both are top notch programs in D6 and both have realitivily new bleachers with nice concession stands. Only thing that might make these fields better is grassy turf, but then again nothing really beats a good grass field.

A positive of being independent and playing some schools most that post here don't is that you get to see some neat tradition at other schools. One that DWARFS everyone around here is fort hill in Cumberland. The greenway stadium rivals mansion park in size. The placed was packed last week when we played them easily 5000 people for a regular season home game. When they play Allegany at the end of the season the crowds have been 15-16K. Another superb facility is mt ridge in frostburg beautiful place. The worst I have ever seen was kutztown. Absolutely awful. Cinder track and home bleachers with an open space in the middle for a death trap tree house press box from the movie sandlot. The visitor bleachers were three portable wooden sections that looked liked was a FFA shop class project. This place made phillipsburg look like beaver stadium.

Yes! Fort Hill's Greenway Avenue Stadium in Cumberland is a great experience! Here is a link - http://www.forthillfootball.net/stadium.htm
