I don't know how you can complain how weak PSU's schedule is when PITT plays an even easier schedule. They both have a easy schedule for being in power conferences but the ACC is just as bad as the Big Ten.

This is a thread ABOUT Penn State. Why is Pitt being mentioned? All I wanted to show was that PSU has a weak schedule, especially when, in A NATIONAL COLLEGE FOOTBALL POLL, that they win 4 games and only move up 4 places, from 41 to 37. That's all. Is there any Nit out there who can defend their schedule and NOT bring Pitt into the conversation? By the way, a beautiful day in Happy Valley, and Beaver Stadium STILL does not make the 100,000 mark for attendance. NW is next.

First moldo get a life, I know Forrest hills is losing bad lately so to comfort yourself by trying to bash penn State. How about this penn state has beaten a team who won a bcs game last year and a strong Rutgers team. Plus penn State is still a top 5 attended football game average

They play at Michigan where it’s hard to win even if Michigan isn’t up to standards. They play a ranked OSU. Maryland is a solid team this year that just smoked Syracuse. They play at Indiana who just beat a good Missouri team that was ranked 18th. They play at 3-1 Illinois and they play MSU a top ten team. It’s not the best schedule in the world but it’s better than most non SEC teams. I think their schedule looks better now than a few weeks ago. The B1G had some big wins this week.

Pretty sure all he is saying is they can't take the 1st quarter off every week and expect to leave with a W once Big Ten play starts. Wouldn't expect you to understand that considering ur still babbling about attendance numbers.
You play to win the game!!!

PSU is the 2nd highest most receiving votes (so basically 27th) in the AP poll and Coaches Poll. I trust those more than computer ratings that have an awful Texas team 29th and a now ranked East Carolina team ranked 50th.

...1) konnjo: Yes UCF was GOOD last year. Richland High School was good last year too. So what?
...2) And where all of the sudden did Rutgers get their hype? Because they are in the Big Ten? You PSU'ers looked down on them for years.
...3) I tell the truth about Penn State no matter WHAT FH is doing.
...4) Yes, PSU does play at Michigan, who just scored only one TD at home losing to Utah last Saturday.
...5) PSU plays only 2 teams in the top 25 of the AP and Coaches Poll. PSU plays BOTH of them at home.
...6) Indiana DID beat Missou. They also lost to Bowling Green.
...7) Illinois is indeed 3-1. They have beaten Youngstown State, Western Kentucky and Texas State.
...8) Nebraska did have a big win over Miami Saturday. PSU does NOT play the Cornhuskers.
...9) NW, ILL, IND, MD, RUT, MICH all have a chance to NOT be bowl eligible.
...10) For several years now, PSU players have been promised to play in front of 100,000 every home game. The thrill is gone.
...11) And it's the coaches and sportswriters who know more about ranking teams? That's why last week they had 7 SEC teams in the top 15. Sagarin had 2.
...Any questions?

No matter what their schedule is, you would find something wrong with it.
