What is wrong in Sidman?

After speaking with an off-duty official who was at the game, and saw the play in question, he said if it had been him, in that position, he would NOT have made the interference call, instead a "no call". He did not see interference, if anything he saw the receiver slow up which led to the defender putting hands on the receiver to slow his own forward momentum. End of story? This was one play. FH made enough bad plays to lose to most any teams. Bailey's quotes said it- "We weren't ready to play tonight, CC was."

I will agree that it did not change the outcome of the game. Just tired of listening to the storyline that FH was upset.

When you're 0-3, and your opponent is 2-1, and you beat them, after 95% of the so-called experts picked the 2-1 team, YEAH, it was an UPSET. That's what really frosts you, isn't it, the fact that some referred to it as an upset? Why don't you take it up with them? Why don't you send a letter to the Trib readers' forum stating your displeasure? Or better yet, cry to Maisel. He's a frequent lurker and sometimes poster. He only responds when someone like me gets under his skin.

0-3 to BG, bedford, and jtown? Yes, those teams are terrible this year. I judge an upset by the team not the record after 3 games. FH was picked by the "experts" solely by record.

I tend to agree with cc on those 3 teams and j-town had jones play that game and he ran and caught the ball and had a great game vs cc. Bg and bedford are tough as heck! Somerset scrimmaged cc and they are a good team cc that is.

Can't understand why CCDevil20 is "tired of listening to the storyline that FH was upset". He's the one who brought it up. This was a simple topic, a question about what is going on at FH. But just like west33 after the Somerset game, he just couldn't wait to jump on the Rangers. And then is all of the sudden "tired" of listening to the storyline he helped create. After telling everyone that the Rangers were overrated even before Donoghue was lost, that the Tribune-Democrat doesn't know it's doing when ranking local teams, and that FH did not look "superb" over a weak BM team, did he think that no one was going to respond to his opinions. Again, I think both he and West33 have an axe to grind with FH for some reason. Probably because FH manhandled CC and Somerset since the early '90's. In both cases, instead of celebrating nice victories over FH, they chose to bring down the Rangers. Too bad. It kind of tarnished what should have been celebratory weekends for CC and Somerset.

I have nothing against the rangers! I thought they would beat cc too! They had a lot of good kids come out of there. They have one of the top coaches. I just rem. the **** talked about somerset last year and the guarantee loss at fh this year! I could care less who wins. I just love watching football. Best time of the year. And someone took a stab at somersets sophomore qb last year which I hate when people cut down innocent kids that try. That's what I remembered. I watch a lot of games all over. I respect athletes and the time they put in whether they are good or bad!

Pretty sure that both somerset and CC celebrated this weekend regardless of what is said on here lol. And I brought it because some still think FH can make district finals, I disagree. And just sticking up for a CC team that is better than anyone is willing to give credit to. Apparently you have to go 7-3 before anyone say you have potential to go 7-3. Look at the tribunes picks and tell me how close they are every year, not very. If anyone on here thinks "there's nothing wrong in sidman" is smoking something, they have 3 key players out indefinately that are important pieces and still have 3 teams on the schedule that beat CC. 5-5 is a realistic finish for them with a possible win over j town making them 6-4, unless they get "upset" again. Haha

Funny though. Both west33 AND CCDevil20 had VERY LITTLE history on this site. That is UNTIL their favorite team beat the Rangers. Then they showed up out of nowhere. Where were these guys before. Didn't hear much about CC when they were 0-3. And where was west33 when Somerset clobbered BC? Again, both have a grudge and it was made plain by their posts against FH.
