Re: District 6 AA Preview
Here is the updated points according to my calculations.
1. Mount Union 970
2. Tyrone 950
3. Juniata 860
4. Central 810
5. Huntingdon 500
6. Penn Cambria 420 (Play Westmont today)
7. So. Huntingdon 420
8. Forest Hills 410
9. Ligonier Valley 410
10. Richland 320
11. Central Cambria 310
12. Bald Eagle Area 240
13. Penns Valley 220
14. PO 0
I feel 2 LHAC teams will get into the playoffs. Which 2 is beyond me. CC has the easiest schedule but has dug themselves a big hole. FH has the toughest schedule remaining.

Right now I have:
Mount Union, Tyrone, Juniata, Central, Penn Cambria, Huntingdon, Forest Hills/Richland winner, Southern Huntingdon as the 8 playoff teams.

The only way those 8 wouldn't make it is if Richland beats FH next week, FH beats Bedford week 10 and SH loses to Mo Valley. Then FH and Richland would both pass Southern.davesandstorm wrote:Right now I have:

FH has to win another one or they are out. CC wins both remaining, they are in. Richland needs 2 more.... It's going to be wild to see who ends up where.

What do you have Central Cambria at for points? I have them 10 behind Southern Huntingdon even with winning out. For some reason though my spreadsheet seem to get thrown off from time to time.

Re: District 6 AA Preview
I had originally thought that after week 8 95% of the rankings and playoff seedlings would be set in stone, however with a crazy week that saw Central Cambria losing, Southern Huntingdon pulling off a semi-major upset things for the 7th and 8th seeds are going to be razor thin.
1.) Mount Union they win out grab the 1 seed.
2.) Tyrone gets the 2 seed with 1 win in the next 2 weeks, win twice and they get pretty close to MU in points.
3.) Central wins out to grab te 3 seed
4.) Juniata gets the 3 seed if they win out, they easily win this week however I have them losing week 10 and they get te 4 seed.
After this things get a little tricky and complicated.
Penn Cambria 6-4 640
Huntingdon 5-5 610
Those 2 teams are really set in stone. Penn Cambria wins today loses next week and wins week 10, and Huntingdon loses week 9 and probably wins week 10.
Forest Hills 5-5 580 4-6 440
-They need to win this week it's truly win or go home for Forest Hills, because they are not winning week 10.
Richland 5-5 610 4-6 460
-Win or go home this week as well for Richland they won this week they are in because I have them winning in week 10, however lose your playoff chances are 100% over.
Central Cambria 5-5 530 points if FH loses 540 if they win
-CC will win out however their faith is completely out of their hands.
Southern Huntingdon 6-4 670 5-5 530
-Best way to get into the playoffs for the rockets is win out and you to the 5 seed lose this week you may be out of the playoffs.
This is absolutely crazy 5-8 is a crap shoot ill give my 2 cents but they probably will be wrong.
5.) Southern Huntingdon I have them winning this week, and coach Garlock goes from going out the door to into the playoffs.
6.) Penn Cambria falls to the 6 seed because of the great finish of SH.
I have Richland winning out and ending the season with 610 Huntingdon also has 610 so I don't know who would be the 7 seed and who would be the 8 seed.

Re: District 6 AA Preview
Even if CC wins out, won't they only have 520 unless FH wins out? At 310 now, wouldn't they get 100 for a win over McCort (A, 2 wins) and 90 for a win over Westmont (A, 1 win) and 10 from FH over Rich, + 10 from BC/Westy winner?

Re: District 6 AA Preview
You have to remember Westmont will get an extra 10 points for beating BC taking CC's total from the Westmont win from 90 too 100.
