Week 9 scores and updates!
Re: Week 9 scores and updates!
Okay. I agree MAC isn't the SEC. How about MAC is ACC and ICC is Northeast Conference.

The teams your putting down Tyrone, Forest Hills, Clearfield, Central, Bellwood, all compete and win district titles year after year..... MU has a very good chance if winning one this year. Nobody on here is saying they don't. But until their name is in the mix on a regular bases people will have doubt... Please stop back in three years and if MU is still one if the top teams this discussion won't be going on..

Re: Week 9 scores and updates!
Most of the reason that people are still skeptical about MU is because last year they were also a high seed and went out in the first round. That is the last memory we have of them in this situation. Obviously this is a new year and they could come out this year and win it all. Who knows? Tyrone and Central have been there and won it in the past 5 years which is why people tend to give them the benefit of the doubt. Again I know that has nothing to do with this year but that's how people look at things. So don't get discouraged with other people's opinions. If MU goes out and beats these teams then nobody will doubt them and they will get respect. Same thing happened with Central a few years back. They had been bad for a long stretch and hadn't won any titles so nobody looked at them as a threat or gave them a chance. When they won people gave them their dues. Same goes with Mount Union this year.

How did I put them down? Especially BA, I clearly said IMO they were better than Tyrone. Like make sense. I said the ICC is better than the Mountain league THIS YEAR, and Mt. Union wasn't getting bashed of playing in a better top to bottom league. That's it. Then you have people saying ICC is the ( NORTH EASTERN LEAGUE). Like, MAC and LHAC are pounding their chest because of they have had more success than the ICC, like ID HOPE. They conferences are made up of AAA, AA and schools that recruit. Now, since its a new era, those same teams are losing to them same ICC teams. Like really, make sense. You put a couple catholic schools, and AAA schools in the ICC and they are going to be the "ACC" too.

I guess we should just get a bag of Hershey kisses ready for the Trojans now. We know that you haven't had an unbeaten regular season in decades. That doesn't mean that the teams ahead are just going to lay down. It different when you are the hunted. The kids will also start feeling the pressure with each week. Its the playoffs and there have been a lot of #1 seeds go down.
Dragon didn't Central take out a supposedly unbeatable Richland team last year!!! I think so
Lets play the games and see what happens. I know I will be at Mansion Park and beyond for whoever is representing the district.

Mt.Union has been barely AA for only 3 or 4 and I think they are at best are 10 kids over the A limit. That's only because they take the online kids enrollment that are located in Huntingdon. Once numbers decline we will be back down to A. So lets not bring this up.
Re: Week 9 scores and updates!
You are either A or AA, whether your 1 kid over or 50 kids over. The fact is MU is AA playing an A schedule.
