One last thing, the Gazette had an article a few weeks ago and stated that Ligonier has 10 players currently playing at the next level. I guarantee there isn't any other Heritage school even close to them. The Head Coach has a lot to do with those kind of numbers. He may say a lot of things that don't sit well with others, but he does his players right. Truthfully, that's all he needs to care about. GOOD LUCK TO ALL THE HERITAGE TEAMS IN THE PLAYOFFS!!!

And you just made my point for me...the head coach has very little to do with those numbers...the players have everything to do with those numbers...but this particular head coach wants everybody to know how much he does for his players...almost like it's more about him and not about the players

I believe an individual from Ligonier started this topic, so don't say everyone is ganging up on Ligonier. Also, what do you want a cookie for playing Carroll and beating them? Also, I believe the last couple years Ligonier hasn't had much success against Penns Manor or Homer. You are right we aren't complaining about getting a 120 points for beating them. We are complaining about not getting more points, because if they could beat some teams like they should, schools would get some more points. On a final note if you cant run with the big dogs, then stay on the porch with the rest of the Rams and don't shoot your mouth off.
For the record, I'm not from Ligonier. The LV in LVBigfoot stands for Laurel Valley. I started this thread to try and get an explanation as to why Ligonier opens their practice field for parking on some games but not others.

I always follow the Heritage, Ligonier is % 90 a JV team this year. 7 or 8 Sophomores and 3 Freshman starting every game. Don't be crying next year when Ligonier and PM (very young too) are pounding everybody. Also, I'm pretty positive a Ligonier person didn't start this thread about parking and so on. It was a Homer fan.
I highly doubt that LV Bigfoot...with the emphasis on LV...is a Homer fan...just saying

Honestly for being a AA school in the heritage having a down year should never happen... People expected Penns Manor to have a down year, especially with some of the injuries they've gotten, but instead are still 7-2 and are going to the playoffs! The fact that ligonier is unable to win with some really good talent should go onto the coaches back. You mentioned spike a bunch of should of won games, well when you have that many it is a sign coaching is a problem!

Ligonier fans might not be able to see it yet but Beitel should having to answer questions non stop but instead you guys act like he's the best coach in the conference. He's not the worse but he's no better than Malicky at Marion Center!

Wow fellas... lots of great banter on here today. I was simply stating my disgust of how Liggy charges too much for admission, has a poor playing surface, and often has a coach that says things either on the radio or in the paper that rub people the wrong way. You guys have had some nice athletes come through your district and that is commendable. You have had some pretty good teams over the past few years and yes you do have many talented underclassmen. Had I known my post would have stirred up this much trouble I would not have posted it... I mean now even people from Bolivar are upset! I guess my crystal ball isn't as clear as yours is spike. Good luck this weekend to all Heritage teams. Can't wait to listen to coaches corner Saturday morning!
