Blairsville and The Record Holding Passer at Redbank Valley
Blairsville and The Record Holding Passer at Redbank Valley
I have seen Blairsville play a few times and have never seen 8-1 Redbank Valley. I read in the Gazette that the their QB broke a state passing record last week in a losing effort against Clairon by passing for 614 yards in that game. Might be an interesting game to see if it is not snowing

If you are a Blairsville Fan you want the snow, rain, wind, and anything else Mother Nature can muster up to slow down the Peyton Manning type QB that will show up Friday Night!!!! Looking forward to seeing just how talented this kid is. For the record I am taking Blairsville 40 something to 20 something though!!!

You can see the Redbank QB on Redbank's Max Preps home page as they have videos on there.
Redbank Valley played Clarion close because of the passing game yes. However, something to consider. Aside from the Clarion matchup, Redbank was undefeated against opponents that are a combinded 16 - 48 with only one of them (Monitaeu) having a winning record of 5-4. Other records of the teams that they have played are as follows:
1-9
1-8
3-6
2-7
4-5
0-9
Now, they cannot help who they play and they are doing what they should by winning. I will be really interested to see how the game against Blairsville works out as I dont think (I could be wrong) that Blairsville runs into too many ariel attacks, and I dont believe that RBV has seen the Power football that District 6 plays.

I would have to agree with PrimeTimePlayer 100 percent!!!! They for sure have had a sheltered schedule but what concerns me a little is that they may not be really good but they are for sure different. The preparation you do for a team like that will for sure take you out of your routine a little. I do think that Blairsville has the athletes to cover the receivers but it will be something that have not seen this year.

whether Blairsville wins or lose this was a great scheduling choice for them. Getting a whole week against a good passing team will be very helpful when the playoffs start. If there is any team who has a strong chance to beat BG in D6 it will be blairsville.
