GURU's Week 10 LHAC Picks

Post by Guru »

Bedford @ FH
The Bison won’t have any problems on the fescue grass at Bailey Staduim… The problem for Bedford is, neither does FH. Look for Don to finish 2014 with a home win and to get ready for the playoffs… Not so fast my friends. If you think that Kevin Steele won’t have his kids ready to play ball you are dead wrong. The problem is that Kevin isn’t playing and that bus ride coupled with knowing they are already in the playoffs will not help the Bison tonight. Kids will be kids…
Bison - 26
Dons - 28

CH @ Johnstown
Can you play taps with bagpipes?
Jtown - 93
Kilts - 4

BC vs Richland
With this 8pm start look for this to be the second LHAC game in 2014 to start on a Friday and end on a Saturday (CC at CH). The rain won’t scare Brandon and they have too many kids for BC to defend. On defense Ridgeley will have the Huskies dialed up and Brandon will be up for the challenge. I’d bet that rain or not the Rams toss the nugget 40+ times. This will be a high scoring game in Loretto.
Richland – 27
Saints North - 18

BG vs Somerset
I wish I was going to be at this game but duty calls and I am working for the Mirror this evening... I don’t think that BG, the Oregon Ducks of the LHAC, can beat Somerset, the Alabama of the LHAC. Anyone that doesn’t think either of these coaches isn’t trying to go 10-0 is smoking crack. As my favorite coach once said, “You Play To Win The Game”.
Somerset - 35
BG - 21
CC Seymours vs Westmont
It is no surprise that CC will throw every play that Seymour isn’t running the ball. He has yet to complete a pass to himself this season so look for that tonight. He will also be looking for Timmy Davis who has had a fantastic season and could surpass 1,000yds and 70 catch marks tonight. What a season for that kid!!! That said the Westmont offense is just boring enough to keep CC’s high octane offense on the sidelines for the majority of the game. CC, you better make EVERY offensive possession count because you might only get the ball 6 times this entire evening. When this is over you can all hustle over to Loretto to watch the second half of the Richland/BC game. Just make sure you have $10 for a private school game ticket...

Seymour – 29
Westmont - 18

PC vs UBM
PC in the mud… As Kramer from Seinfeld would say, “Their fathers were mudders and their mothers were mudders”. UBM stinks, they hate playing on real grass and Mardula and Terek are studs. This is going to be a massacre.

Panthers - 30
Saints South - 00
