Re: D6 AA Playoffs
Haha yea, might have the Neptune firehall come up and water it too. Maybe throw some straw on your sideline over the quicksand. Lol . I think coach Franco still has a shoe under the 35 yd line at miller stadium.

Re: D6 AA Playoffs
I remember that game well. If they didn't water it, god does strange things in Sidman because only our side of the field was a mud bowl.

On www.tyronepa.com you will find a link for a web broadcast from WTRN Tyrone of the game. This is a live feed so it only works during the games.

Some kids just get it. Two great programs going at it on Friday night, and there is a lot of respect. Good Captain— Senior WR Nick Getz
It will be interesting to see how each team will adjust to a different type of opponent. Tyrone has not yet seen a running back as shifty and as talented as Forest Hill’s Shareef Blough. The Rangers have speed on the outside and can stretch the field fairly easily.
Likewise, the Rangers have not played a team with a dominant downhill, smash mouth running game that Tyrone prides itself on.
It is a tale as old as time. Forest Hills vs. Tyrone.
The two perennial powers in District 6 AA for the past 20 years on the same field for yet another time. If there is a game to watch on Friday night, it’s this one.

Other than United in1998 has anyone beaten Tyrone at home in a playoff game recently

McCort beat them sometime early to mid 2000s in OT and I also remember Central Cambria beating them in 08. That may have been their last playoff home loss.

Re: D6 AA Playoffs
I think a sloppy field will definitely favor the home team. Looking forward to it either way!
You play to win the game!!!
