This is how a pathetic Special Teams(except ficken) and below average offense puts your Defense behind the 8 Ball possession after possession and leaves a team hang around to win a football game.

Hackenberg is terrible right now, and not only is he terrible, his attitude and the displays he has put on this year yelling at coaches and teammates does not exemplify a leader. He had time to make plays today and he did not. The Oline is a major problem why this team can't do anything, but your QB needs to be able to throw a bubble screen and have touch and accuracy. He has none of that right now.

It is going to take a lot of breaks in the next 4 games to get to 6 wins. The Defense will give them a chance, but the offense will need to make some plays. This team really lacks talent on the oline and RB positions.

This was the worst game I've seen in a while. Both offenses stunk defenses lack luster everyone but Maryland lost watching that game

I see by playing Troy Apke on special teams during this game, PSU burned his redshirt for this year. Was this wise? The season is now 2/3's over. You mean to tell me there was no one else on the team who could have handled this role for the team?

If you seen Penn State's secondary class they have coming in and the one that came in last year, then yes it was wise.

Apke is now the backup to Marcus Allen at FS due to Keiser's season ending injury so he is going to be getting snaps on defense now.
You play to win the game!!!

The question is, is he going to get a lot of reps in the defensive backfield, or just play on the kick-off teams. Seems like a waste with only 5 possible games left. And if Allen is a freshman, how many reps will Apke get on defense. Allen is a work in progress. He will play most of the time.

Obviously enough that the staff felt pulling his redshirt status would be worth it. My guess is they may have a few packages they might be trying to work him into. Penn State doesn't have the luxury to redshirt as many as they would probably like to.
