A kid doesn't react that way out of nowhere! Not to mention homer center is a pretty well coached team that does not get personal foul penalties! Then again crimson never saw anything wrong with the very late hit on danny ferens a couple years ago when it was his alma mater being called out!
Um I'm pretty sure it was either this year or last year that another player from homer center got kicked out of a game against Blairsville for throwing a punch.

konjo man, you're makin yourself look silly here. watch the film. there was no "piling on". No twisting of an ankle. the kid lets go one second after the whistle. count it yourself, when the ref signals for the clock that's when the whistles blow. why did the kid go ballistic? you'll have to ask him because, LOOK CLOSELY, the ref is looking right at that area of the pile and wasn't acting urgent like something dirty was going on. I don't care what hank said, this video evidence shows otherwise. Maybe the defender wasn't getting off the pile as quickly as the HC kid wanted.

Just watched the play for the first time. Don't know why 51 is brought up. He did seem to hold on to the ankle a little long but the HC kid was going after 59. I can't tell what the HC kid would have seen to go after 59. Either way there is a fine line between sticking up for a teammate and going overboard like that.

Once again, this may be the first time I've ever stuck up for Konjo in an argument of his BUT to me, the plays looks dirty. Really dirty.

Once again the Portage Hate blinders are on. If you actually WATCH the video and see where the ball is...If that ball was not overthrown a bit, #20 would have timed his hit perfectly from when the ball would get to the receiver #7. So I'm guessing you just didn't want him to come play defense on that play right ?!?!? Seriously some of you people are JOKES in here with the things you spew with your fingers on this board just to hate on certain teams and people.
But the ball was overthrown and there was no reason for the hit on the WR, but threw green colored glasses everything looks ok
The joke is people saying I don't know why a player would flip out

Anyone know which players were on the officials incident report? Really that is all that is going to matter. They are the ones that will have a hearing with the D6 committee. Or if appealed the PIAA

yeah, your argument is correct if the game were being played in slow motion. It was a clean hit. Again, on BOTH plays the refs were right on top of the plays. No fouls called on the Portage players so are you saying the officials were in on the dirty play also?

I don't have a dog in the fight, but from what I saw it wouldn't have been that bad of a play if #59 wouldn't have piled on. The runner was obviously down before he piled on. The initial ankle tackle and hit up high I would just call a football play.

However, that definitely was a dirty play by #59 to pile on while the runner was in a vulnerable position. it looked to me like he was giving #34 some business while he was in obvious pain. I feel that was completely uncalled for.

I will once again say that it doesn't matter what the portage players did or the alleged act. I dont care if he was taking a bite out of the players leg or spinning his ankle around in circles. That players reaction was 100% wrong. You cant make a single argument to justify his actions. Konjo I know your almighty heritage is never to blame for anything and they won the last 3 single A title as you let everyone know on a regular basis but this argument is just asinine. There is nothing clear on the film. Film doesn't lie. HC player should never play another down of football.

I don't know what other people were watching, but I think its pretty obvious from the film two people's actions were uncalled for.

#59 from portage's and the HC player's
