Re: The Old Guys
Maybe Coach Cal can get the chopper out again to aid the crushers with the search?
Stay tuned!

What grade is Cecere in?

Big H, When you've acquired the wisdom and knowledge that comes with experience and age, get back with me. The H obviously does not stand for humble.
It ain't over until it's over.
Re: The Old Guys
One of the most arrogant and ignorant things I've ever read. Thanks for your input, though. Being condescending because you have some years on me really does help. Love your insight into today's youth, especially with your personal experience going through 4 years of Varsity football within the last 10 years. Really, really helpful and eye-opening experience you have there.Manfred wrote:When you've acquired the wisdom and knowledge that comes with experience and age, get back with me.
Re: The Old Guys
And to what, exactly, do you attribute your omniscience?

Re: The Old Guys
Personally going through four years in 10 years I can tell you now a days a coach yells at a kid, the coach might be in front of the board at the next school meeting
Re: The Old Guys
Not saying I'm omniscient at all. But the fact that I was actually, you know, part of this generation you're speaking of kind of gives credit to what I'm saying as opposed to your outside-looking-in generalizations.Manfred wrote:And to what, exactly, do you attribute your omniscience?
Re: The Old Guys
Won't argue with this. Some parents are ridiculous. Some kids are ridiculous. But the fact that people group together all kids like this is just absurd. Out of the 40 or so players on my team my senior year I can only think of maybe 2 sets of parents that would even do this. That being said, it wasn't even because of the kids. Parents of the kids are most of the time more of the problem nowadays than the actual kids are.crfball wrote:Personally going through four years in 10 years I can tell you now a days a coach yells at a kid, the coach might be in front of the board at the next school meeting
Re: The Old Guys
Funny coming from the guy who just pretty much told me that one day I'll be as knowledgeable and wise as he is. Pretty humble statement there.Manfred wrote:That 'H' really doesn't stand for humble, does it.
