I agree, coaches need to recruit hard within their own hallways

good idea to try to get everyone in your school to go out that could contribute. i remember when i was in high school at track practice the week before the district meet a kid that had some friends in track came to the field. he usually worked 4 or 5 days a week after school. he was over by the high jump talking to someone and said he wanted to try it. he had never been in tracking and had never tried to high jump. he was wearing jeans and a pair of doc martins..... we put the bar at 5'4". he cleared it easily on his first try. so we put it up to 5'6". cleared that. 5'8 and cleared that. we put it at 5'10 and it took him 3 tries to clear it. I want to say you needed 5'6 or 5'8 to qualify for districts that year. The highest jumper on our team only cleared 5'8'".

I remember when I was in school a kid ran a 400 in 52 seconds in jeans and cowboy boots during gym class but never played a organized sport in his life because he said it didn't interest him. I guess if you don't want to play then you probably shouldn't.

Wonder if he'll post selfies while he's sitting in the school bus during the game tomorrow night?

That doesn't look like Don Juan to me.

The year was 2013. The site was Mount Union, PA. It was AA. It was only week 11. It would be the last game for One team. MU was expected to pound FH. FH won 14-13.knowitall wrote:The year was 1987. MU had 6 Turnovers.
There is Portage's recipe for a W. If BG were to have a half dozen Turnovers, albeit a Big If,...then Portage could win. It "could" happen. That's why they play the games.
