What makes this comment even better is that it's coming from a guy who's avatar is a picture of a well known coach who led a football cult and who's profile adds that he's "in the basement at BHS." Even better is the fellow poster piling on who has the sperm avatar.

These 1290 announcers are certainly in favor of BG. They're obvious about their bias.

Congratulations to BG , they are very deserving champions. Hats off to Portage, you represented your school, conference and town very well. You should be proud. I wish I could have enjoyed the broadcast, calling these announcers clowns is an insult to circus performers everywhere If they are covering the Tyrone Mount Union game tomorrow I will pass.

No doubt. I was just a neutral listener listening to a possible opponent down the road. Those guys were straight cheerleaders.

The thing that amazed me is how they were talking about Mt. Union speed (unsure who they are in the first place) and they'd be shocked if Mt. Union was faster than BG because BG is the fastest team they've ever seen. I was thinking, boy I hope they catch the Clairton vs D5 champ game next Friday. BG has some nice players and some great size, for a 1A school, but I don't confuse them w/ great team speed.

I just listened to the feed that MSA provided. I bounced between the BG game and the WPIAL Championships.
