Seems to me that Tyrone did not hang with BJ Loner. Stat's don't lie But Mu had every chance to win that game. Every pass does not have to be a home run hitter and there was the great trap for Mu. If they would have read their check downs THEY WERE THERE FOR THE TAKING! the game would have been different. Can't throw the ball into double and triple coverage. Still proud of those kids they had a great season. MU PROUD !!!!!!

Bottom line, the better team won. Didn't mention that Tyrone had 2 turnovers(both inside MU20) so it could've been worse too. Mount Union played tough and proved their toughness, they took some shots and kept coming. Don't muddy a good game with "woulda coulda's", because both teams have them. The one that wins overcomes them.

Hunter had more rushing yards and TD's than loner and even more big plays. Therefore MU couldn't contain Hunter, and your entire post was an excuse. Just like I said Tyrone won and MU couldn't compete with Tyrone's team defense and shove it down your throat offense. Please go away now just like MU will do and become a bottom feeder of the ICC again. Tyrone once again proved they're the top dog in D-6AA. Tradition never graduates and #5 triumphs again. Ask a tyrone-er they'll explain #5 better than I can.

Well said manfred and MU and loner couldn't beat the team or the man. Saw today hunter had 304 yards rushing on 34 carries plus put loner on his back quite a few times on d while putting his entire performance on his team and oline.

Moving on from this post. The better TEAM won period. We have a tough Hickory defense to find a weakness in. Mt Union is home and their stars have played their last game. Want to prove yourself meet us in the playoffs again next year. We will be there.

I'm actually from Toona town but I have to support the local teams. On a side note blair county was 2 for 2 in district championship games this weekend.
