Chances are fans of Berlin can sit on the home side as well. Believe it or not, plenty of big time football schools in the wpial only have seats on one side of their stadiums. I can think of Gateway, Thomas Jefferson, and Penn Hills off hand that have nice fields and programs but seats on one side.
Yeah but at those games you don't have to deal with the trash. Ridiculous site for this game, not even an illusion of fairness.
Can you please explain "trash" to me? What exactly did you mean by that? Given what I have seen from Somerset fans I think I know EXACTLY what you mean...I hope Clairton beats you by 70.
Just what do you mean Somerset fans?
I mean I have seen the way the people from Somerset County...specifically in this instance the Berlin fan base...have treated the Clairton fans in a past meeting. I was there. I heard the racist stuff that was said, I saw the police and their dogs specifically put on the Clairton side of the field for absolutely no reason, Ive seen the Clairton side of the field and their bleachers not touched when it snowed so that they had to stand and sit in a foot of snow, I saw Somerset High School purposefully leave a 1/2 foot or more of snow and ice on the field to try and slow down Clairton. Sit here and deny it all you want...you people (yes, you people) are a REAL class act let me tell you...

Watch film, how much taunting has Clairton done after breaking a big play. You'd think they'd be used to winning by now and hand the ball right back to the refs. I heard the Berlin-Clairton game did get crazy two years ago. But there's always two side to the story

I didn't know celebrating with teammates is taunting. I wasn't at the game two years ago so I have nothing negative to say about Berlin. Hoping for a well played, injury free game.

But in the last two games I've noticed Clairton is very mistake prone. If a team can limit their own mistakes while capitalizing on Clairton's and manage to hold the ball and slow the game I think it'd be relatively easy to hold Clairton in check. Now in check might still be 35-0 but that's not bad when you look how ridiculously talented Clairton is.

Relatively easy to hold Clairton in check. I dont know how to even respond to that statement. Are you kidding me? The best team they played, Neshannock, they still scored 48 on. They arguably played their worst half of football against Avonworth and still scored 46. One of 3 things: 1. You either have never watched Clairton 2. You know nothing about football 3. You are a Berlin Homer with wishful thinking.
Are you people all buying into Clairton so much? For one, I never said about Berlin keeping them in check. And yes I still think a good team can keep Clairton in check. If you have enough offense to keep it close while not allowing them to score every time. You'd need a line that can keep wade honest. And you need a guy that can match up with their tall receiver. IF a team has that and limits their mistakes while Clariton makes two or three, how can you say it would be any worse than 35-0?

I mean I get it, I really do. This Clariton team is ridiculously talented. There's probably not a team in the state at A-level that can match up to Clairton the way I'm saying because Clairton's level of talent and number of kids with that talent is something you see coming from AA and AAA schools. But don't think those Bears can't be beat. It takes one bad game by them and one good game by the opponent, with a little luck the Bears could easily be beat.

Is any of this likely? Of course not. But from what I see and hear Clairton has two to three more years of playing at the level, maybe more. So they'll be waiting for someone to knock them off. I'm willing to bet that someone will indeed knock them off before they lose all these star players.

Keying on the Big 3 opens up Ramone Clifford, Jamie Hines, and Noah Hamlin.... Ask Avonworth about that strategy.

Besides, even I didn't predict Clairton to beat BG and South by 70 so I don't know where your rants are coming from. I saw some film on Berlin. They appear to be on the level of a Frazier or Chartiers Houston.
