Mountain League boys and girls
Interested in hearing what people think about Mountain League this year.
Boys:
More of the same it looks to me. Up for grabs! BEA, PV, CHS, and Huntingdon. Whoever can win a few games on the road and stay tough at home will win it. I give a slight edge to PV and Huntingdon because they have some size. While I don’t see a super team I do see a very competitive league which should be fun to watch. While Huntingdon and PV have a go to player I think BEA and CHS will be a little more balanced despite not having the size of the other two teams. All four teams are well coached and I will pick PV to win it.
Girls:
I think this is a four team race between PV, Tyrone, CHS and Bellefonte. Huntingdon can contend also if they get some help from guards. I don’t see any of these teams separating from the others. I think it is a battle between PV and Tyrone based on returning players and what I saw over the summer. Make sure you keep an eye on Central and Bellefonte though because both are capable of winning the thing. Seems to be a good bit of turnover on the coaching ranks on the girls side especially with the top teams with only Tyrone as the exception.

I would have to go with Huntingdon on the Boys side. They will have the best player in the league in Nate Gearhart along with Kobren Frederick at center who really improved last year and will be tough to contend with inside especially because of the lack of size from most of the other league teams. Don't forget about Tyrone either. They lose some seniors but also return some good players as well.

Yeah I'd believe Huntingdon is the favorite this year. Penns Valley will be tough again this year as well.
You play to win the game!!!
