Marion Center open? There was a brief posting on jobconnexion.com but it has now expired. Have not heard that Dave Malicky is leaving.
Malicky is retiring. Marion Center will be looking for a new coach.

Kevin Marabito just hired at United. Impressive move by the school; I'm sure they were glad he was interested. Seems to be well-regarded in the area. Nice pick-up for the Heritage Conference as well. He's got a big job ahead of him, but that's a big step forward at United.

That's a good hire for United. Marabito was a good coach in a much better conference (LHAC). He'll have success there eventually. They just have to be patient.

Is that the same Marabito that used to coach Penns Manor?

Yes. He went 4-14 in 2000-2001. At that time the participation at PM was low. I believe (not positive) this was about he time they started the midget program. So he really had no feeder program. Does anyone know how he is with the kids? I guess I am asking can he get them to buy into the program? United has been hit hard by the soccer bug and he will have to get those kids back.

Question now is...who takes over at Marion Center? The Heritage will look a little different this year.

A great hire for United, If Coach Marabito could at Frendale he can turn United's program around, it will take sometime but he's type of coach that can work with players and make them better. I wished the Bishop McCort would have hire him, instead of doing nothing or hoping that Coach Davitch would stays. People are talking that Davitch is staying, but is releasing his assistant coaches for next year. Davitch will be incharge of whole new staff. Guess the saying is right, "Crap does flow down hill"

Big loss for the Rangers, anyone know who will be on his staff? Can see any other green and golders going with him.
