Patriot scandal: what should the nfl do

So Belichick should be suspended before the Patriots are even found guilty of doing something wrong? What ever happened to innocent until proven guilty? All we know so far is that 11 of 12 balls were deflated and someone obviously is responsible. Until it's found who did it you can't punish anyone.

The NFL isn't a court of law. Eleven of twelve balls in the custody of the New England Patriots were found to be in violation of league rules. That is the responsibility of the head football coach of the New England Patriots. As a repeat offender I give him a year which starts today.

The Patriots are the only ones that are suppose to touch the balls but that doesn't mean someone else didn't. Again we won't know until after the investigation. I hate the Patriots and hope they did it but you can't punish people without proof and its that simple.

They should be fined $60 mil., forfeit all draft picks for the next 4 years, Belichick should be suspended forever, and the team have to forfeit a hundred or so wins. And -NO- bowl appearances. Isn't that the standard?

Actually the most likely outcome will be a fine and the loss of a few draft picks. No further investigation into the matter will take place because the balls were destroyed immediately by the commissioner's office once they were deemed to be in violation of league rules.

Sorta like "SpyGate" this isn't really all that big of a deal... It's something that is widespread, also like spygate, and they ust happened to get caught.
