BG
Congrats to Blairsville and Portage on their second round wins. Loved the article on BG game, lots of excuses. Most everyone knows what the problem is at BG. When you have someone dominating the ball and shooting 8-22 from the floor that is a problem. Too much talent on that team. Without the transfers they lose to Kennedy 61-20. What would happen if those transfers decided to go back home? What would BG be next year? Think about it.
Re: BG
Your fixation on BG girls basketball is quite comical. I read the Mirror article as well and did not see anything remotely close to an excuse from Moschella. Kennedy was simply the better team (and 2nd only to Vincentian in the state in my estimation). I especially enjoy how you point out "the problem" from a team that starts four sophomores and one junior and made it to the second round of the state tournament. Those young women will only improve over the next two years, so I guess we will get to hear a lot more about the evil "University of BG" from you.
I would like to see you start a new thread just like this one entitled JV that informs us all what "the problems" there are, especially since they could not even finish in the top 4 in D6 with all of their "transfers". Think about it. Recruiting is deplorable everywhere, including both private and public schools.

Re: BG
You are absolutely correct, these players will get better over the next two years. They already have the talent to beat Kennedy, BG won three of four quarters of that game. I really don’t care what the Harrisburg based rankings say. I’m talking about how they play. That is the key to unlocking two straight state championships if they want it. In fact it could be three, they will probably be a better TEAM that third year than they will be the next two. I don’t think they will have the courage to adjust. As far as JV goes you seem to be the expert there so let us all know again the problem.
