It wasn't even that bad.... Commentators felt the refs did way too much and that stone did major acting. I can think of a handful of dirtier players in the Nhl... Three that came straight to mind were matt Cooke, zac Rinaldo, and Daniel carcillo
Major acting usually doesn't result in a fractured wrist... care to rescind your moronic comment or argue this one to the bitter end like everything else.

No additional punishment for Subban... given his perceived reputation and track record I'm somewhat disappointed in the NHL. Mark Stone is an up and coming NHL impact player that was going to play a serious role in this series. Now he may miss some or all of the series due to a totally reckless decision by Subban. That's embarrassing for the NHL, IMO.

i doubt he'll miss any time.... He came right back into the game without a problem! Subban didn't deserve a suspension and honestly you make a crack at the flyers but most would agree that the pens have been the most dirty team the past 5 years. You did house the worst of the worst with matt cooke for so long.

You doubt he will miss any time? That's funny... Credible sources are reporting he is out indefinitely. Maybe you know something they don't though. He didn't come right back into the game either... he went to the locker room and eventually came back. Those facts are a silly thing.

Who made a crack at the Flyers? Sure wasn't me. Try and deflect attention away from your false claims by bringing up Matt Cooke, par for the course.

The NHL is a complete joke, right now. I'm usually quick to defend them (see earlier in this thread) but it just baffles my mind why they want liberties constantly taken on their brightest stars.

Stone may play but how effective will a guy with a broken wrist really be. I can just see Marc Staal licking his chops at the opportunity to inflict a similar style play against Crosby and Malkin. Subban overhead chopped Stone's wrist so hard he broke it. Does anyone know how hard that is to do? Most wrist fractures come from bracing for a fall or collision, not a full on karate chop.

I'm glad Subban has to go back on the ice tomorrow night and hopefully Ottawa has some goon down on the ECHL farm team that is willing to pay the fine and time that will result in a worthy retaliation.

They don't need to go down to the ECHL abpk, they still employ Chris Neil. I will be absolutely shocked if he isn't on the ice tomorrow night... at least for a few seconds.

Konjo, just a question... if Kris Letang whacks Giroux or Voracek in exactly same manner with same result are you still singing the same tune? I don't think so and that's the problem with you.

Don't even acknowledge him. He is the definition of a troll.

I hope Ottawa smacks Montreal just for this incident.

i'm not trolling... I watched it live.... Did it deserve a major penalty? yes but no suspension or even considered dirty... I've seen much dirtier things come playoff time, especially in cup finals. This is a play that happens about once a night around the league.

Please provide a few examples of it happening nightly. I don't care if you watched it live. It was dangerous and deliberate attempt to injure. Earlier you said stone acted... Now it's major worthy. Which is it??

You dodged my question as well... Typical.

The pens just had a player do a two handed slash on someone's wrist...didn't take long for you one and only. Common occurrence in the Nhl... Move on people
