So who is this kid? Shouldn't he be 16 by now?

And btw - my comments from a few yrs ago on travel ball were for the high school aged kids - not 9 and 10 yr olds. I never realized the lower ages were going to explode with teams and tourneys in the last five yrs. Travel ball at that age is for the parents egos and the tournament organizers to cash the checks. Still waiting for the inaugural 3u team to debut somewhere. :)) =))

I'm just not sure baseball is the ideal sport for the travel team thing. The AAABA, afterall, isn't played in a weekend.

Travel teams are now a dime a dozen and many are the equivalent at best of a regular league's all star team. Most ten year olds have more fun between games and don't mind a rain out at all.
