I think it makes sense to put Barton on that list of top pitchers. He is not imposing on the mound at 5'6" all 150~ LBs of him, but all he does is win. Last year was the top pitcher on the JV team that went to state quarters, complete with no-hitter against CV in Districts, a 3 hitter against a very offensive minded Lancaster CC. This season, just completed a 1 hitter against HC to start of JV's district run. He clocks mid 80's at best. The kid just knows how to pitch and battles every batter. Has received lots of next level attention, but instead is going to serve his country in the Army. Says thats what feels right for him, just a great kid.

Get a clue... 90+ velocity is what is required to pitch at the higher levels. Why do you think the local 6'2" basketball center never makes it to the NBA???
