Lantzy Game
Re: Lantzy Game
Or you support your school's kids in ALL their activities, and their parents, who are your friends, and want to support them too. Lonely much?
It ain't over until it's over.

They are all star games. The players, their families, friends, and coaches all enjoy the games. Meaningless to you maybe, but there are a lot of people, including Ken Lantzy who would disagree with you.

Sorta switching topics here a little however, word in the stands was that Bishop Guilfoyle was getting a promising RB transfer from Penn Cambria who will be a sophmore this upcoming season. Anyone know who this might be ???

I've been to about 10 or 12....and can count on one hand the number of times I stayed for the whole time. When I played. Other than that, I usually leave mid way through the 2nd.

upon further review. I stayed twice for the entire game. When I played in it, and when my daughter's boyfriend (now my son in law) played. And the second time...I was not a happy camper. That was back when they played at Windber Stadium.

our Game Breakdown: http://www.westernpafootball.net/news/s ... uth-34-14/
Overall, this couldn't be blamed on Landis of the Souths performance...The North was absolutely stacked up front on D. The O'Donnel kid from FH was incredible...as was Blough. Was my first Lantzy game...they run a classy show there. All star games are great for the players, coaches, schools and fans. Gives them one last chance to shine and I don't care what some of you say, they are far from meaningless....they are rivalry builders.

Re: Lantzy Game
The FH kid's name is DONOUGHE (pronounced DON-o-HUE). He was wide open all night, by 10-20 yds., and touched the ball twice- once on a 2 pt. conversion pass, and a 20 yd. jet sweep for a TD! And not to belittle any Ranger, but the sheriff, a.k.a. Shareef, caught 2 passes out of the backfield for less than 20 yds. total. He doesn't block anyone, so what did you see that excited you about him in this game?billmurray wrote:our Game Breakdown: http://www.westernpafootball.net/news/s ... uth-34-14/

Re: Lantzy Game
I'm very glad the spelling police are on call! Meant O'Donnell of Glendale...but yeah, Donoughe played well. As for SHAREEF I liked the way he hit the line, how he ran the ball and he played with intensity. Thanks for correcting me.Manfred wrote:The FH kid's name is DONOUGHE (pronounced DON-o-HUE). Re: Lantzy Game
No problem, it was your mistake that brought up "the kid from FH". Just trying to keep your credibility up there!
