Awwww....I really wanted it to be in '01. That was the year my ex-boyfriend was a senior at Somerset (graduated in '02) and he ALWAYS whined to me about how the refs screwed him out of a district championship as a senior. He said that the fans chased after the refs following the game and made a huge scene. Haha...I can just see Roger Aultz chasing after some zebra. I SO would have paid big money to see that. It just would have been fitting if it had been you that made him cry.

no sorry chick, not 01...but we did steel the title from them in 2000, beat them 1-0 up at The Rug, foreign exchange student from norway hit a cross to a kid in his first year playin soccer, and he burried it in the back of the net in the first half. great game indeed
bedford and somerset are starting to develop a HUGE rivalry, especially with bedford being 2-0 in the playoffs against them. bedford has won 1 reg. season game at home against the eagles and lost both trips to somerset. this past season the game had to be called because of the violence, ref said it was because of darkness but there was plenty light. some crazed guy from bedford flipped just off and told off just about every person their, including the ref...several times....had to litterally be thrown into his car at the end to avoid starting a fight, but hey...what can ya do right?

not sure, he played striker....but i had just cleared the ball to pete (who didnt control it and it ended up back in somersets possesion) and they counterattacked and got a breakaway, just as i cleared the ball tho, this kid slide takles me, but i step outta his way, but he manages to wrap both his legs around my right foot so i couldnt move, well they were on a breakeaway and i need to get my foot loose so i just drove through his groin as hard as i could...what sucked was a split second before i did it, the ref blew his whistle to card the somerset kid, so both of us got yellowed for it

I've never been personally introduced to him, but he used to date my friend. And from what I hear, that's about right. Ha...my ex even hated the kid, but then again anyone who threatened his soccer status he hated. He hated the fact that Cody Miller (00-01 So Co Offensive MVP) was one of my best friends just because he had beaten him out for the MVP spot by one goal. Geez...
