West Pac Week 6 Predictions
West Pac Week # 6 Predictions (YTD-21-4)
I have been wrong before but, I really don’t see too much on this week’s schedule that is worth doing much of a prediction. The upper half of the West Pac is all playing the lower half. I figure the only game that could be interesting is CT@ Shade and possibly Blacklick and CV (although unlikely)
Meyersdale (3-2) @ Windber (1-4) Saturday at Shade
Meyersdale has had a rough couple weeks and this week they should be able to rebound and get a “W”. I can’t see Windber pulling any upset here. The direction of the Ramblers has been pretty much determined and I don’t see them getting the 4 wins necessary to move on to the post season. Meyersdale qualifies with one more win and they will need to work on finishing out games.
Prediction Meyersdale 28-7
Portage (4-1) @ Ferndale (0-5)
What can anyone have to say about this one?
Prediction: Portage BIG 65-0
Berlin (5-0) @ North Star (2-3)
Same as above
Berlin 48-7
Conemaugh Valley (3-2) @ Blacklick Valley (2-3)
Conemaugh Valley is getting better each and every week and I look for them to continue the trend against an up and down Blacklick team. CV should win this one by a few scores or more.
Prediction CV 35-13
Conemaugh Twp. (4-1) @ Shade (1-4)
CT has come alive this year and is bringing out the whooping stick. This must make the people on the reservation happy after the past few years’ results. The Indians have a junior laden team that will continue to move forward and be a real contender for next year as well. Shade is definitely not the team I thought they were in the beginning of the year. I like many others probably got caught up believing the hype on them. Shade is capable of pulling the upset but, it may be unlikely considering how they have been playing lately.
Prediction CT 35-14
